In the wake of recent fires and the struggles shaping our collective experience, many of us are carrying grief, stress, and a longing for renewal. What if the path to healing is rooted in our conscious belonging with nature and each other?
This Earth Day, join nature mindfulness teacher Sylvie Rokab at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden for a Forest Bathing experience. Rooted in the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-yoku, this practice invites you into a sensorial, heart-centered communion with the more-than-human world. Complemented by mindfulness and backed by neuroscience, this 90-minute gathering offers a space to restore, reconnect, and experience your place within the web of life.
Through guided immersions, contemplative practices, and deep sharing/deep listening circles, you’ll be invited to:
As we gather in community, we listen to the land and to each other, allowing nature’s wisdom to guide our renewal. In the same way that wounded ecosystems regenerate, we too can find resilience, healing, and equanimity.
Come heal, reconnect, and celebrate Earth Day in a way that nurtures not only personal well-being but also the well-being of our shared home.
