Mindfulness Teacher & Nature Therapy Guide

Guiding you through this transformative journey is Sylvie Rokab, a seasoned mentor and mindfulness teacher with a wealth of wisdom and experience helping others blossom into the best version of themselves. She combines mindfulness, Indigenous knowledge, forest bathing, wisdom traditions, meditation, and modern science. Sylvie is passionate about supporting people to go beyond the impermanent concerns of daily life to tap into the vastness of existence – with awareness, kindness, playfulness, and a sense of wonder.

SESSION 1:
CREATING A DAILY PRACTICE

Establish a time tested and reliable way to set yourself up for an intentional, focused and peaceful day. Learn to anchor the secular mindfulness tools that have been used for millennia, and that scientific studies have proven to calm the nerves, heighten attention, and deepen a sense of connection and belonging.

SESSION 2:
MEETING YOUR EDGES

We often turn from parts of ourselves that feel prickly or difficult. But this internal suppression creates a division in the spirit and only intensifies our pain. What if we could hold every part of ourselves with love? What wisdom might we discover by meeting and softening into our hard edges?

SESSION 3:
ANCHORING JOY

Understand why you lean towards negativity in the first place and learn the practices to rewire your brain for joy, beauty, wonder, and play; without bypassing the challenges and sorrows. Learn how anchoring conscious contentment turns you into a more effective leader in your life and world.

Modern culture has us living in an epidemic of loneliness, isolation, and deep divisions. Uncover the ways to resolve conflict and build bridges with compassionate communication, cultivate a sense of belonging with others, and join forces for higher visions that benefit all beings, human and beyond.

REVITALIZING YOUR PURPOSE

SESSION 6:
SHINING YOUR BRIGHT LIGHT

Having reconnected with yourself, your community, and your purpose, you now have everything you need to let the bright light of your true, wise, loving nature shine forth. In this last session, you’ll look back at what insights have emerged, and anchor your natural power into your life and your world.

FAQ

The course begins on Thursday, January 30, 2025 and will continue for six weeks.

All sessions will take place on Thursdays starting at 5pm US Pacific Time, lasting 90 minutes. The first session is on January 30.

Yes! Video and audio recordings will be available for all sessions, usually within three days of each meeting. The audio files will be downloadable, so you can keep them in your library forever.

A computer, laptop or smart phone device that logs you onto Zoom. You can also join via a phonecall.

In addition to access to the live sessions with Sylvie and other participants, your registration comes with video and audio recordings of each session, as well as a weekly PDF summary of what has been covered.

Refunds are available for up to 30 days from the date of purchase. No refunds can be issued once the course starts.
